Dr. Lisa Moore was born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii, and received her undergraduate degree from Tufts University in Massachusetts. Finding Massachusetts too cold for her liking, she relocated to California to attend the UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine, graduating in 1993. She worked full time in San Jose from 1993-2000 (including several years with Dr. Singh).

In 2000, her first daughter was born and she began working part time. She now has two daughters and lives in Sunnyvale, and enjoys spending a few Saturdays each month at Sunnyvale Veterinary Clinic.

Dr. Moore's hobbies include gardening, photography, volunteering at her daughter's school, and spending time with her husband, daughters, and their dog and two cats.
