Dr. Rachel Casamina received her undergraduate degree from UC Berkeley in 2004. She then went on to veterinary school at UC Davis, graduating in 2008. After veterinary school, she completed a one year internship at Ohio State University where she worked with emergency and urgent care cases and supervised senior veterinary students.

During veterinary school she spent a summer in Barcelona, Spain as a surgery extern. There she assisted surgeons in soft tissue and orthopedic surgery and also became proficient in Spanish.

In August 2009 she relocated to the Bay Area and joined Sunnyvale Veterinary Clinic. We are very excited to welcome her to our team.

When she is not working, Dr. Casamina enjoys hula dancing, SCUBA diving, sea kayaking, hiking, cooking, spending time with her puppy, Puccini and playing with her ball python James.
